For example, you have to follow a strict exercise routine, avoid wearing high heels or tight clothing for long periods of time, avoid long periods of standing or sitting or crossing your legs, etc.
What is the
procedure like?

First, the area to be treated is cleaned carefully. Then, your medical provider brings the laser device close to your skin, targets it at the necessary location, and delivers high-intensity light energy, which is then absorbed by the skin. The heat forces the targeted blood vessels to close, and then shrink over time. The damaged vessels are then reabsorbed by the natural process of the body over time.
This is a simple in-office procedure that does not require anesthesia. You will not feel any pain but may feel some discomfort, which is normal. Many patients report that the sensation of the laser on the skin is like a rubber band snapped against the skin.
Laser vein removal may take anywhere between 30 to 90 minutes, depending on the size of the area that needs to be treated. You will also be given a protective eye shield to wear during the procedure.
