THE KYBELLA PROCEDURE
When you visit Olam Med Spa for a Kybella procedure, you will have one of our trained medical professionals designated to you. Not only will this person conduct the Kybella procedure, but they will ensure your wellness and comfort during the process. They will also follow up with you after the treatment to ensure you are doing great.
Your healthcare professional will examine the area under your chin and determine if Kybella is the right treatment form for you. Your treatment will then be customized to suit the amount of fat under your chin and meet your esthetic goals.
The treatment area will be cleaned thoroughly with an antiseptic. Several small injections are administered in multiple sites under your chin. The entire process will not last more than half-hour. How many injections you require will depend on the amount of fat deposit and the kind of results you expect from the treatment.
Kybella treatments are a month apart, and you can receive up to six treatments.
RECOVERY
TIME
You might experience some amount of bruising and swelling after a Kybella procedure. You might even experience numbness under the chin. These are normal and will disappear over time. However, please inform your medical professional if you develop weakness in your facial muscles, an uneven smile, difficulty swallowing, open sores, or a discharge from or around the injection site. Please keep your medical professional informed of any of these problems.
